The UMC laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists.

Blood Bank and Transfusion Services

UMC's blood bank and transfusion service is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks.


The Radiology Department is accredited by the American College of Radiology and licensed by United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Our mammography services are evaluated annually by the Food and Drug Administration and fully comply with the Mammography Quality Standards Act.
